To start the Karcher BR 30/4 C Adv, first ensure the machine is plugged in and the water tank is filled. Turn the main switch to the "ON" position and lower the handle. Press the suction bar lever to engage the suction function.
If the machine is not picking up water, check if the suction bar is properly attached and clean. Ensure the suction hose is not blocked and the recovery tank is empty. Adjust the suction bar height if necessary.
The brush should be inspected regularly for wear and tear. It is recommended to change the brush every 100 hours of operation or sooner if the bristles are worn down significantly.
Karcher recommends using their specially formulated floor cleaning detergents. Always ensure that the cleaning solution is suitable for the type of flooring being cleaned and follow the manufacturer's dilution instructions.
To clean the recovery tank, remove it from the machine and empty any remaining water. Rinse the tank with clean water and use a mild detergent if necessary. Ensure the tank is completely dry before reattaching it to the machine.
After each use, empty and rinse the clean and recovery tanks, clean the brush and suction bar, and check for any blockages in hoses or filters. Store the machine in a dry place.
If the machine won't start, check that it is plugged into a working power outlet. Inspect the power cord for damage. Ensure the main switch is in the "ON" position and the emergency stop button is not engaged.
Streaks can result from a dirty or worn brush, incorrect brush pressure, or using too much detergent. Make sure the brush is clean, adjust the pressure settings, and use the correct amount of detergent.
To replace the brush, turn off and unplug the machine. Tilt the machine back and remove the brush cover by unscrewing the fasteners. Slide out the old brush and insert the new one, ensuring it is securely in place before replacing the cover.
Store the machine in a dry, clean area away from extreme temperatures. Ensure the tanks are empty and dry. Keep the handle in the upright position and the cord neatly wrapped to prevent damage.
