Karcher BDS 43 Instructions Manual

To assemble the Karcher BDS 43, start by attaching the handle to the base unit. Secure it with the provided bolts and ensure all connections are tight. Refer to the assembly manual for detailed instructions.
Use only Karcher-approved cleaning solutions to prevent damage to the machine. Check the manual for specific recommendations based on the surface you are cleaning.
If the BDS 43 does not start, check the power supply and ensure the power cord is connected properly. Inspect for any blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers. Additionally, ensure the safety switch is engaged.
To change the brush, first unplug the machine. Tilt the BDS 43 to access the brush area, then release the brush lock mechanism and remove the old brush. Insert the new brush and secure it with the locking mechanism.
Perform regular maintenance after every 50 hours of operation. This includes checking the brush for wear, inspecting the power cable for damage, and cleaning the machine thoroughly.
If streaks appear, ensure the brush is clean and free of debris. Check the cleaning solution concentration and adjust if necessary. Inspect the squeegee for wear and replace if needed.
To adjust the handle height, locate the handle adjustment lever on the machine. Loosen the lever, adjust the handle to the desired height, and then tighten the lever to secure it in place.
Store the BDS 43 in a dry, indoor environment. Ensure the machine is clean and the power cord is coiled properly. Avoid storing in areas with extreme temperatures or high humidity.
To replace the power cable, first unplug the machine. Remove the cable entry cover, disconnect the old cable, and connect the new cable following the wiring diagram provided in the manual. Secure the entry cover once finished.
Unusual noises may indicate a loose component or debris caught in the brush. Inspect the machine for any loose parts and remove any debris. If the noise persists, consult a service technician.
