To set up the Intempo EE1551, first place it on a stable surface. Connect the power adapter to the turntable and plug it into an outlet. Attach the speakers using the provided cables, ensuring the red and white cables match the corresponding ports. Place a record on the platter and gently lift the tonearm to begin playback.
If the turntable isn't spinning, check the power connection and ensure the unit is turned on. Verify that the belt is correctly positioned on the motor pulley. If issues persist, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
Regularly clean the stylus with a soft brush, moving from back to front. Keep records dust-free by storing them properly and using a record cleaning solution. Ensure the turntable is on a level surface to avoid unwanted vibrations.
A humming noise can result from a grounding issue. Ensure that the ground wire is properly connected. If your setup includes external speakers, check their connections as well. Moving the turntable away from other electronic devices may also help reduce noise.
To replace the stylus, first ensure the turntable is powered off. Gently remove the old stylus by pulling it away from the cartridge. Align the new stylus and gently push it into place until it clicks. Refer to the manual for specific alignment instructions.
The Intempo EE1551 Retro Audio Turntable does not have built-in Bluetooth capability. To use Bluetooth speakers, you would need a Bluetooth transmitter that connects to the turntable's audio output.
Use a carbon fiber brush to remove dust before and after playing records. For deeper cleaning, apply a record cleaning solution with a microfiber cloth, wiping in a circular motion that follows the grooves. Allow records to dry completely before storage or playback.
The Intempo EE1551 has a speed selector switch, usually located next to the platter. You can switch between 33 1/3, 45, and 78 RPM depending on the record type. Ensure you select the correct speed to maintain audio fidelity.
Distorted sound may be due to a worn-out stylus or incorrect tracking force. Check the stylus for wear and replace if necessary. Consult the manual to adjust the tracking force, ensuring it's set correctly for optimal sound quality.
Skipping can be caused by a dirty or damaged record, an unbalanced turntable, or incorrect tracking force. Clean your records and check that the turntable is level. Adjust the tracking force according to the manufacturer's guidelines to resolve skipping.
