To start a wash cycle, load your dishes into the dishwasher, add the appropriate detergent, close the door securely, and select your desired wash program using the control panel. Press the start button to begin the cycle.
If the dishwasher doesn't drain, check for blockages in the filter and drainage hose. Make sure the sink drain is not clogged, and ensure that the dishwasher is not overloaded with dishes. Cleaning the filter and ensuring correct installation of the drain hose should resolve the issue.
To clean the filter, remove the lower dish rack, unscrew the filter located at the bottom of the dishwasher, and rinse it under running water. Use a soft brush if necessary to remove any debris and reassemble before placing it back.
Spots on glassware are often due to hard water. Ensure you are using rinse aid and that it is filled. Adjust the rinse aid dispenser setting according to the hardness of your water supply.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the filters, checking and cleaning the spray arms, wiping the door gasket, and running a cleaning cycle with a dishwasher cleaner to remove limescale and grease buildup.
To reset the dishwasher, turn it off by pressing the power button, then unplug it from the electrical outlet. Wait for about 5 minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.
Unusual noises can be caused by items in the dishwasher obstructing the spray arms. Ensure dishes are properly loaded and not touching each other. Check for foreign objects in the filter area and make sure the dishwasher is level.
To improve drying performance, ensure the rinse aid dispenser is filled and select a drying cycle or an option that includes a heated dry. Opening the door slightly after the cycle completes can also help with drying.
You can use dishwasher tablets, powder, or gel detergents. Ensure the detergent is suitable for automatic dishwashers and follow the manufacturer's instructions for the correct dosage.
If the dishwasher doesn't start, check that the door is properly closed and latched. Ensure the unit is plugged in and that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Also, verify that a wash cycle has been selected.
