Ensure that large items do not block the spray arms. Place pots and pans in the lower rack and small items like cups and glasses in the upper rack. Ensure all items are dishwasher safe.
Check if the dishwasher is properly plugged in and that the door is fully closed. Verify that the water supply is turned on and that the circuit breaker has not tripped.
Remove the lower rack and unscrew the central filter. Rinse the filters under running water to remove debris. Clean them regularly to maintain optimal performance.
Use a quality dishwasher detergent in tablet, liquid, or powder form. Be sure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions for the correct dosage.
Check for blockages in the drain hose or filters. Ensure that the kitchen sink drain is not clogged. If the problem persists, consult the manual or a technician.
Use a rinse aid to enhance drying and reduce spots on glassware. Also, ensure that the "Extra Dry" option is selected if available.
Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner or a cup of white vinegar placed in the upper rack. Regular cleaning of the filters and door seals can also help reduce odors.
Check the door seal for damage or debris. Ensure that the dishwasher is level and that the inlet hose connections are tight. Look for cracks in the tub.
Ensure that the spray arms can rotate freely and are not clogged. Check that you are using the correct amount of detergent and that the water temperature is adequate, ideally 120°F (49°C) or higher.
To reset the dishwasher, turn off the appliance, unplug it from the power source, wait a few minutes, and then plug it back in. Turn on the machine and select a new cycle.
