Ensure the parking brake is engaged, the blades are disengaged, and the throttle is in the fast position. Turn the ignition key to start the engine.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 32°F (0°C) and SAE 5W-30 for temperatures below 32°F (0°C).
Check the air filter every 25 hours of operation and replace it if it's dirty or damaged.
