To start the Husqvarna W520i, ensure the battery is charged and properly installed. Press the start button on the handle until the engine starts. Release the button once the mower is running.
If the mower is not cutting evenly, check the blade for damage or dullness and replace if necessary. Ensure the mower deck is set at the proper height and is level.
To maintain battery life, avoid completely draining the battery. Charge it after each use and store it in a cool, dry place. Periodically check and clean the battery terminals.
It is recommended to clean the mower after each use, check the blades and sharpen or replace as needed, and inspect the battery regularly. Additionally, have a professional service the mower annually.
If the mower doesn't start, check the battery charge and connections. Ensure the safety key is engaged, and inspect for any obstructions in the blade area or under the deck.
It is not recommended to use the W520i on wet grass as it can lead to uneven cuts and potential slippage. Wait for the grass to dry for optimal performance.
After use, disconnect the battery and use a brush or cloth to remove grass clippings and debris from the deck and blades. Avoid using water to prevent electrical issues.
Excessive vibration may be due to an unbalanced or damaged blade. Inspect the blade and replace if necessary. Additionally, check that all bolts and nuts are securely tightened.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever on the side of the mower. Move the lever to the desired height setting, ensuring both sides are set equally for an even cut.
During the offseason, clean the mower thoroughly and remove the battery. Store the mower in a dry, sheltered area and the battery in a cool place. Perform any necessary maintenance before storing.
