To start the Husqvarna V548, ensure the fuel valve is open, set the throttle to the choke position, and pull the starter handle briskly. Once the engine starts, move the throttle to the desired speed setting.
Use SAE 30 oil for temperatures above 40°F (4°C). For colder temperatures, 10W-30 oil is recommended. Always check the oil level before each use.
Blades should be sharpened after approximately 25 hours of use or when you notice uneven cutting. Regular inspection will help maintain optimal performance.
If the mower won't start, check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is connected, and inspect the air filter for blockages. Replace the spark plug if necessary.
To clean the air filter, remove the cover, take out the filter, and gently clean it with soap and water. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling.
Before storing, clean the mower, drain fuel or add a fuel stabilizer, and remove the battery if applicable. Store in a dry, sheltered area to prevent rust and damage.
Adjust the cutting height by using the levers located on each wheel. Ensure all wheels are set to the same height for an even cut.
Excessive vibration could be caused by unbalanced blades or loose parts. Check the blades for damage or imbalance and tighten any loose bolts.
To replace the spark plug, disconnect the spark plug wire, unscrew the old plug using a wrench, and install the new plug. Ensure it's properly gapped and tightened.
Regular maintenance includes checking the oil level, cleaning or replacing the air filter, sharpening the blades, and inspecting the mower for any loose parts or damage.
