Husqvarna YTH150 TWIN Instruction Manual

To start the mower, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the blades are disengaged, and the throttle is set to the choke position. Turn the ignition key to the start position, and once the engine starts, move the throttle to the fast position.
Check the fuel level, ensure the battery is charged, and verify that the spark plug is functioning. Also, make sure the safety switches are properly engaged.
Ensure the tire pressure is equal on all sides. Check the mower deck for levelness and inspect the blades for sharpness or damage. Adjust the deck height as needed.
It is recommended to change the oil every 50 hours of use, clean the air filter every 25 hours, and check the blades and belts regularly for wear or damage.
To change the oil, run the engine for a few minutes to warm it up. Turn off the engine and remove the oil drain plug, allowing the old oil to drain completely. Replace the drain plug and add new oil to the engine.
Excessive vibration may be caused by unbalanced or damaged blades, loose engine mounts, or debris trapped in the mower deck. Inspect and balance the blades and ensure all components are securely attached.
Disconnect the spark plug wire and remove the old spark plug using a spark plug wrench. Install the new spark plug and reconnect the spark plug wire, ensuring a snug fit.
Clean the mower thoroughly, remove the battery, and store it in a cool, dry place. Add a fuel stabilizer to the gas tank and run the engine briefly to distribute it. Store the mower in a covered area.
To adjust the cutting height, find the cutting height adjustment lever and move it to the desired position. Ensure both sides are set to the same height for an even cut.
Power loss can be caused by a clogged air filter, dirty fuel system, or worn-out spark plug. Check these components regularly and replace or clean them as needed.
