To start the Husqvarna W520, ensure the fuel valve is open, the throttle is set to the choke position, and the safety lever is engaged. Then, pull the starter cord firmly.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87. Avoid using old or contaminated fuel to ensure optimal performance.
Change the oil after the first 5 hours of use, then every 25 hours of operation or at the start of each mowing season.
Ensure the blades are sharp and balanced, clean the underside of the deck regularly, and mow when grass is dry to improve performance.
Check the fuel level, ensure the spark plug is clean and properly connected, verify that the air filter is clean, and make sure the safety switch is engaged.
To adjust the cutting height, locate the height adjustment lever on each wheel. Move the levers to the desired position to achieve the preferred cutting height.
Clean the mower, change the oil, drain the fuel tank, remove the spark plug, and store it in a dry place to prevent rust and ensure it is ready for next season.
Remove the air filter cover, take out the filter, and gently tap it to remove debris. If it's very dirty, wash it with soapy water, let it dry, and then reinstall.
Always wear protective eyewear, sturdy footwear, and hearing protection. Ensure the area is clear of debris and children or pets are at a safe distance.
Check if the blades are dull or damaged, verify that the wheels are set to the same height, and ensure the mower is moving at a consistent speed.
