To start the Husqvarna MZ61, ensure the parking brake is engaged, the blades are disengaged, and the throttle is set to choke if the engine is cold. Turn the ignition key to the start position and release it once the engine starts.
Check the PTO switch for proper operation, ensure the drive belts are intact and properly tensioned, and inspect the electrical connections related to the blade engagement system.
It is recommended to change the oil every 50 hours of operation or at least once per mowing season, whichever comes first.
Use unleaded gasoline with a minimum octane rating of 87 and a maximum ethanol content of 10%. Avoid using E85 fuel.
Excessive vibration may be due to unbalanced blades, debris stuck in the mower deck, or damaged drive components. Inspect and clean the deck, and balance or replace the blades as necessary.
Regularly sharpen and balance the mower blades, ensure the deck is clean and level, and adjust the cutting height to suit the grass conditions.
At the start of each mowing season, change the oil, replace the air filter, check the spark plugs, inspect the belts and blades, and lubricate all moving parts.
Use a garden hose to clean the deck after each use. For thorough cleaning, safely lift the mower, scrape off any stuck grass or debris, and rinse it with water.
Ensure the battery is charged, the spark plug is in good condition, the fuel is fresh, and the air filter is clean. Also, check the safety switches and wiring connections.
Clean the mower thoroughly, change the oil, add a fuel stabilizer to the fuel tank, disconnect the battery, and store the mower in a dry, sheltered area.
