To clean the hood, use a damp cloth with mild detergent. Avoid abrasive cleaners. Regularly clean or replace the filters as per the manufacturer's instructions to maintain optimal performance.
Check if the filters are clogged and clean them if necessary. Ensure there are no blockages in the ductwork and that the vent is open.
First, disconnect the hood from the power supply. Remove the cover of the light compartment and replace the bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage.
Excessive noise can be due to loose parts or clogged filters. Ensure all screws and mounts are secure and clean the filters. If the problem persists, contact a technician.
While installation can be done by a skilled DIY enthusiast, it is recommended to have a professional installer to ensure safety and compliance with local regulations.
After cleaning or replacing the filters, press and hold the filter indicator button for a few seconds until the light resets.
The hood uses both grease and carbon filters. Grease filters can be washed, while carbon filters need replacement every 3-6 months depending on usage.
If your hood is not effectively removing odors or the filter indicator light is on, it's time to replace the carbon filters.
For optimal performance, use a duct with a diameter of at least 150mm (6 inches). Ensure the ducting is as short and straight as possible.
Ensure the kitchen is well-ventilated and that the hood is operating at a suitable extraction speed to match the cooking intensity.
