To adjust the temperature, locate the temperature control panel inside the fridge compartment. Use the buttons to set your desired temperature for both the fridge and freezer sections.
Ensure that the fridge freezer is level and not touching any walls or cabinets. Check for any loose items inside that might be vibrating. If the noise persists, contact customer support.
The Hotpoint FFU3D K 1 is a frost-free model, so you do not need to manually defrost it. If ice builds up, ensure the door seals are intact and not obstructed.
Check that the vents inside are not blocked by food items. Ensure the door seals are clean and intact. Adjust the temperature settings as needed and allow 24 hours for changes to take effect.
Refer to the user manual for detailed instructions on reversing the door swing. You'll need a screwdriver and possibly another pair of hands to assist with the process.
Water pooling can occur if the defrost drain is clogged. Clean the drain hole at the back of the fridge inside the compartment using a pipe cleaner or similar tool.
It's best to let hot food cool to room temperature before placing it in the fridge freezer to prevent condensation and maintain efficiency.
Unplug the fridge freezer and locate the condenser coils at the back or underneath the unit. Use a vacuum cleaner or a soft brush to remove dust and debris.
Check if the bulb needs replacement. Ensure the fridge is properly plugged in and the door switch is not stuck. Replace the bulb with one of the same type and wattage.
Ensure the door seals are tight, keep the fridge well-organized, avoid overfilling, and set the temperatures to the recommended settings: 3-5°C for the fridge and -18°C for the freezer.
