To set up the Horizon Fitness CT9.3 Treadmill, ensure the area is clear and flat. Follow the assembly instructions in the manual, attaching the uprights to the base, securing the console, and connecting the cables. Verify that all screws and bolts are tightened securely.
If the treadmill does not start, check the power cord connection and ensure it's plugged into a working outlet. Verify the safety key is properly inserted. If the issue persists, inspect the circuit breaker and reset it if necessary.
To calibrate the speed, enter the engineering mode by holding the speed "up" and "down" buttons together for a few seconds. Follow the on-screen instructions to adjust and verify speed calibration.
Regularly clean the treadmill deck and belt with a damp cloth, avoiding excessive moisture. Lubricate the belt every 3-6 months with a silicone-based lubricant. Check and tighten bolts, and inspect the power cord for damage.
To adjust the belt tension, locate the adjustment bolts at the rear of the treadmill. Turn the bolts clockwise to tighten or counterclockwise to loosen the belt. Ensure the belt is centered and not too tight to prevent damage.
Unusual noises may be due to loose bolts or a misaligned belt. Check all hardware for tightness and inspect the belt alignment. Lubricate the belt and deck if needed to reduce friction.
If the display is not working, ensure the power supply is stable and the safety key is engaged. Check the console connections and inspect for any visible damages. A reset of the treadmill may also help.
When storing the treadmill, fold it upright using the folding mechanism. Ensure it is in a dry area away from direct sunlight and moisture. Cover it with a dust cover to prevent dirt accumulation.
To change running programs, access the console menu and use the program buttons to cycle through available options. Select your desired program and press start to initiate. Refer to the user manual for detailed program descriptions.
If the belt slips, check the tension and adjust it using the rear roller adjustment bolts. Ensure the belt is properly aligned and lubricated. Inspect the drive belt for wear and replace if necessary.
