Horizon Fitness CT7.1 2011 Owner's Manual

To calibrate the treadmill, first ensure the machine is turned off. Press and hold the 'Stop' button while inserting the safety key to enter calibration mode. Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the calibration process.
First, check the tension of the belt by lifting it in the middle. If it lifts more than 3-4 inches, it needs tightening. Adjust the bolts at the end of the treadmill deck equally to tighten the belt.
To lubricate the deck, lift the treadmill belt and apply silicone lubricant underneath. Spread the lubricant evenly by walking on the treadmill at a slow speed for a few minutes.
Regular maintenance includes checking belt tension and alignment, lubricating the deck every 3 months, and cleaning the treadmill surface and motor cover to prevent dust accumulation.
Ensure the power cord is securely plugged in and the power switch is on. Check the circuit breaker and reset it if necessary. If the problem persists, inspect the connection between the console and the main board.
Sudden stops may be due to a loose or worn belt, electrical issues, or overheating. Ensure the belt is properly tensioned and inspect the power connections. Allow the treadmill to cool down if overheating is suspected.
Use the incline buttons on the console or handlebars to adjust the incline. The treadmill will automatically adjust to the selected level. Ensure the incline motor is functioning if adjustments do not occur.
Squeaking noises typically indicate the need for lubrication. Lubricate the belt and deck as per the manufacturer's instructions. Check for loose bolts or debris that may also cause noise.
To center the belt, adjust the rear roller bolts. Turn the bolt on the side where the belt is drifting clockwise, and adjust the opposite side counterclockwise until the belt is centered.
Purchase a compatible safety key from Horizon Fitness or an authorized dealer. Insert the new key into the console slot to enable the treadmill functions. Ensure it fits securely.
