To assemble the treadmill, follow the instructions in the manual carefully. Generally, you will need to attach the console, handrails, and base stabilizers. Ensure all bolts are securely tightened.
If the belt is slipping, try adjusting the tension screws located at the rear of the treadmill. Turning them clockwise will tighten the belt. Make small adjustments and test until the slipping stops.
It's recommended to lubricate the treadmill belt every 150 miles or every 3 months, whichever comes first. Use a silicone-based lubricant for best results.
First, check if the treadmill is plugged in and the power switch is on. If it still doesn't work, inspect the power cord and outlet. If the problem persists, contact Horizon Fitness customer support.
To calibrate the speed, access the settings menu on the console, select calibration, and follow the on-screen instructions. This process ensures accurate speed readings.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the treadmill deck and belt, checking for loose bolts, lubricating the belt, and ensuring the power cord is in good condition.
Use the incline buttons on the console to adjust the treadmill's incline. You can increase or decrease the incline in small increments to suit your workout needs.
Wipe down the treadmill with a damp cloth and mild soap. Avoid using harsh chemicals. Make sure to clean the console and belt to prevent dust build-up.
A squeaking noise might indicate the need for lubrication or that a bolt is loose. Inspect the treadmill for any loose parts and apply lubricant to the belt as needed.
Use the treadmill's console to track your workout metrics such as time, distance, speed, and calories burned. Some models might offer connectivity to fitness apps for detailed tracking.
