Ensure that dishes are placed in the racks with enough space between them for optimal cleaning. Avoid overloading. Heavier items like pots should be placed in the lower rack, and delicate items like glasses should be placed in the upper rack.
Check for any blockages in the filter and the drain hose. Clean the filter and ensure the drain hose is not kinked or clogged. Also, check if the sink drain is clear.
The filter should be cleaned once a month to ensure optimal performance. Remove the filter, rinse it under running water, and use a brush to clean off any debris.
Use a high-quality dishwasher detergent, preferably one that is recommended by the manufacturer, to ensure effective cleaning and to protect the dishwasher’s components.
Spots can be due to hard water. Use a rinse aid to help prevent spots and ensure the water softener is set correctly for your water hardness level.
To reset the dishwasher, press and hold the Start/Reset button for about 3 seconds until the display clears. Then, restart the cycle.
Ensure there are no obstructions preventing the door from closing. Check if the racks are properly aligned and not overloaded. Inspect the door seal for any damage.
Ensure that you are using a rinse aid and that the dishwasher is loaded correctly to allow proper air circulation. Select a drying cycle with a higher temperature if available.
Regularly clean the filter, check and clean the spray arms, and inspect and clean the door seal. Run a cleaning cycle with a dishwasher cleaner every few months.
Unusual noises may be due to items inside the dishwasher rattling or the spray arms hitting something. Ensure all items are securely placed and the spray arms can move freely.
