To start a drying cycle, first load your laundry into the drum. Select the desired drying program using the program selector dial, then press the start/pause button to begin the cycle.
If the dryer is not heating, check if the machine is plugged in and the door is properly closed. Ensure the selected program includes heat and inspect the thermal fuse and heating element for faults.
To clean the lint filter, open the dryer door and locate the filter at the bottom of the opening. Pull out the filter, remove any lint, and rinse it under warm water. Allow it to dry completely before reinserting.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the lint filter after every use, periodically checking and cleaning the condenser unit, and ensuring the water tank is emptied after each cycle if using a condenser model.
To reset the dryer, turn off the machine and unplug it from the power source. Wait for about 5 minutes before plugging it back in and turning it on.
If drying takes longer, check that the lint filter and condenser are clean. Ensure that the load size is appropriate and that items are not overly wet when placed in the dryer.
The dryer is suitable for most fabrics, but always check the care labels. Avoid drying items labeled as not suitable for tumble drying, such as delicate or heat-sensitive fabrics.
Unusual noises may be caused by objects caught in the drum or filter. Check for loose items and ensure the dryer is level. If noises persist, contact a service technician.
Refer to the user manual for guidance on selecting the appropriate drying program based on fabric type and load size to ensure optimal drying performance.
It's generally recommended to monitor the dryer while in use to address any issues that may arise promptly. Avoid leaving it running unattended, especially overnight or when away from home.
