To start a drying cycle, load your laundry into the drum, select the desired drying program using the control dial, and press the start button. Ensure the door is securely closed before starting.
Check if the appliance is properly plugged in and if the circuit breaker is functioning. Ensure that the selected program is appropriate for the fabric type and that the lint filter is clean. If the issue persists, contact Hoover customer support.
To clean the lint filter, open the dryer door and locate the filter at the bottom of the door opening. Pull it out, remove any lint, rinse under warm water if necessary, and let it dry completely before reinserting.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the lint filter after every cycle, ensuring the exhaust vent is clear, and checking for any blockages or debris in the air pathways. Perform a full maintenance check every few months.
If the dryer stops mid-cycle, it might be due to an overloaded drum, a power supply issue, or a program selected that includes pauses. Reduce the load size and check the power connection. If unresolved, contact a technician.
Turn the control dial to select the desired drying program according to your fabric type and drying preference. Refer to the user manual for detailed descriptions of each program.
Unusual noises may indicate objects trapped in the drum or an unbalanced load. Check the drum for foreign objects and redistribute the laundry evenly. If the noise persists, inspect the dryer feet and adjust for stability.
Use the anti-crease function if available, and promptly remove clothes at the end of the cycle. Shake garments out and fold or hang them immediately to minimize wrinkles.
Not all fabrics are suitable for tumble drying. Check the care labels on your garments and refer to the user manual to choose the appropriate program for each fabric type. Delicate items may require special attention.
Ensure the dryer is plugged in and the door is closed securely. Check the fuse box for blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers. Verify that the start button is being pressed correctly. If these steps do not resolve the issue, consult a professional technician.
