To clean the lint filter, open the door and locate the filter at the bottom of the door opening. Pull it out, remove any lint by hand or with a soft brush, and reinsert the filter before using the dryer again.
First, check if the dryer is plugged in and the power outlet is working. Ensure the door is closed properly. If the problem persists, check the fuse or circuit breaker and reset if necessary.
To prevent shrinking, use the appropriate drying cycle for the fabric type. Delicate and low-heat settings are less likely to cause shrinkage. Always check garment care labels before drying.
Unusual noises could be due to loose items like coins or buttons in the drum. Check the drum and remove any foreign objects. If noises persist, inspect the drum rollers and belt for wear and replace if necessary.
It is recommended to clean the condenser unit every month. Remove it from the dryer and rinse it with water until clean. Make sure it is completely dry before reinserting.
Distribute clothes evenly and avoid overloading to ensure efficient drying. Mix small and large items for better tumbling and airflow. Avoid drying heavy items like towels with lighter fabrics.
If drying times are longer, check if the lint filter and condenser unit are clean. Ensure that the exhaust vent is not blocked. Overloading the dryer can also cause longer drying times.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the lint filter after every use, monthly cleaning of the condenser unit, and checking the drum and door seals for wear.
While drying shoes in the dryer is not recommended, if necessary, use a low-heat setting and place them inside a pillowcase to reduce noise and potential damage.
To reset the dryer, unplug it from the power source for a few minutes, then plug it back in. This can sometimes resolve minor electronic glitches.
