To reset the Hoover HLSI 433GT-80 dishwasher, press and hold the start button for about 3 seconds until the indicator lights blink, then release. This will reset the machine and allow you to start a new cycle.
Ensure that the door is fully closed and latched, check that the power supply is connected, and that the water supply is turned on. If the issue persists, check the fuse or circuit breaker.
Remove the lower dish rack and locate the filter at the bottom of the dishwasher. Twist it counterclockwise to unlock, then remove and rinse under running water to remove debris. Reinstall by twisting it clockwise until it locks.
Spots may be due to hard water. Ensure that the rinse aid dispenser is filled and adjust the rinse aid setting. Additionally, check that you are using an appropriate detergent.
For heavily soiled pots and pans, use the intensive wash cycle. This setting uses higher temperatures and increased water pressure to remove stubborn food residues.
Check the door seal for any damage or debris that might prevent a proper seal. Also, ensure that the dishwasher is level and that the inlet and drain hoses are properly connected and not damaged.
Regularly clean the filters and spray arms, check and refill rinse aid, and inspect door seals for wear. Running an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner monthly can also help maintain performance.
To adjust the upper rack, lift the rack handles on both sides and gently lift the rack. This will allow taller items to fit in the lower rack. Lower the rack by pulling the handles back down.
Unusual noises may be due to items in the dishwasher hitting the spray arms. Check that dishes and utensils are properly loaded and that nothing obstructs the spray arms. Also, inspect for loose components.
While the dishwasher can still function with the salt indicator light on, it is recommended to refill the salt compartment to ensure optimal performance, especially in areas with hard water.
