To reset the Hoover HLSI 400PW-S, press and hold the start button for approximately 5 seconds until the LED indicators flash, then release the button.
Check for any obstructions in the drain hose, ensure the filter is clean, and verify that the sink's drain is not clogged.
Remove the lower rack to access the filter. Twist and pull out the filter, rinse it under running water to remove debris, and then reassemble it back into the dishwasher.
Use a high-quality dishwasher detergent recommended for automatic dishwashers. Tablets, gels, or powders are all suitable options.
Open the dishwasher door and locate the rinse aid dispenser. Turn the adjustment dial to increase or decrease the amount dispensed per cycle.
Ensure that dishes are loaded properly without blocking the spray arms, and check for any loose items or debris inside the dishwasher.
It's recommended to clean the filter and check the spray arms monthly. Perform a deep clean with a dishwasher cleaner every 3-6 months.
Check the door seal for damage, ensure the dishwasher is level, and inspect the hoses and connections for leaks.
Ensure the rinse aid dispenser is filled, select a higher drying option if available, and open the door slightly after the cycle to let steam escape.
Verify that the dishwasher is plugged in, the door is properly closed, the water supply is turned on, and check for any error codes on the display.
