The freezer compartment should be defrosted when the frost build-up exceeds 5mm. This usually occurs every 6 months, depending on usage.

Unusual noises can be due to the appliance being unlevel, items inside vibrating, or normal operational sounds. Ensure the fridge is level and check for any loose items.
First, unplug the fridge. Locate the light cover inside the appliance and remove it. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage. Replace the cover and plug the fridge back in.
Inspect the seal for any debris or damage. Clean with warm soapy water if needed. If the seal is damaged, it should be replaced promptly to ensure efficiency. Contact Hoover customer service for replacement parts.
Ensure the fridge is not overfilled and that there is adequate airflow. Regularly clean the condenser coils and check the door seals for proper sealing. Set the temperature to the recommended settings.
Store raw meat and poultry on the bottom shelves to prevent contamination. Use airtight containers for leftovers. Ensure the fridge is not overcrowded to allow proper air circulation.
Check the water line connections if applicable, and ensure the defrost drain is not clogged. Inspect the door seals for any gaps or damage. If the problem persists, consider contacting a technician.
