To reset the Hoover HFI 6060-80, press and hold the start button for approximately 3 seconds until the lights flash. This will reset the program.
Check the drain hose for any kinks or blockages, ensure the sink drain is clear, and clean the filter located at the bottom of the dishwasher.
Remove the bottom rack to access the filter. Twist the filter counterclockwise to remove it, then rinse under running water to remove debris.
Error code E3 indicates a heating fault. Check if the heater element needs replacement or if there is an issue with the thermostat.
Ensure you are using a rinse aid, select a higher temperature program, and avoid overloading the dishwasher.
Spots can be caused by hard water. Use a rinse aid and ensure the water softener setting is correctly adjusted.
Clean the spray arms every 3 to 6 months. Remove them and rinse under water, removing any blockages with a toothpick if necessary.
Use the intensive wash cycle for heavily soiled pots and pans as it uses higher temperatures and stronger spray action.
Run a cleaning cycle with a dishwasher cleaner monthly, and occasionally run a hot wash cycle with vinegar.
Check for any loose items inside, ensure dishes are properly loaded, and inspect the spray arms for obstructions.
