To start a wash cycle, load your laundry into the drum, add detergent, and select the desired wash program by turning the program knob. Press the 'Start/Pause' button to begin the wash cycle.
First, ensure the machine is plugged in and the power supply is working. Check if the door is properly closed and the water supply is turned on. If the problem persists, refer to the user manual or contact customer support.
To clean the lint filter, locate it along the rim of the drum or near the agitator. Remove the filter, rinse it under running water, and remove any lint particles. Reinsert the filter back into its position.
Run an empty hot-water cycle with a cup of white vinegar or a washing machine cleaner once a month to keep the drum clean and free of odors.
Ensure the machine is level by adjusting its feet. Avoid overloading the machine and distribute clothes evenly in the drum. Check for any foreign objects trapped between the drum and the tub.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Clean the pump filter, which may be blocked with debris. If the problem continues, consult the user manual or contact a service technician.
Leave the door open after each wash to allow moisture to evaporate. Regularly clean the detergent drawer and run a monthly cleaning cycle with a washing machine cleaner or vinegar.
Noises can be due to loose objects in the drum, an unbalanced load, or worn bearings. Inspect the drum for objects, redistribute laundry, and if necessary, contact a technician for further inspection.
Clean the detergent drawer every month to prevent buildup of detergent residue and mold. Remove the drawer and rinse it under warm water, then dry thoroughly before reinserting.
Refer to the user manual to identify the error code. Follow the troubleshooting steps provided. If the issue is unresolved, contact Hitachi customer support for assistance.
