Haier HEWFT36BXB Installation and User Manual Instructions

Ensure the washing machine is placed on a level surface. Connect the water inlet hoses to the water supply, and ensure they are tightly secured. Attach the drain hose to a proper drainage outlet. Plug the machine into a grounded electrical outlet.
Locate the lint filter, usually found near the agitator or drum. Remove the filter and rinse it under running water to remove any lint or debris. Reinstall the filter securely before using the washer again.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Make sure the end of the drain hose is positioned higher than the water level in the washer. Inspect and clean the pump filter if necessary.
Ensure the washing machine is level and on a stable surface. Check that the load is balanced and avoid overloading the machine. Use vibration-reducing pads under the feet if necessary.
Use high-efficiency (HE) detergents for the best performance and to avoid excess suds. Follow the manufacturer's instructions on the detergent packaging for optimal results.
Remove any clothes from the drum. Add a washing machine cleaner or a cup of white vinegar directly into the drum. Select the self-clean or tub clean cycle, and start the washing machine.
Regularly clean the detergent drawer, lint filter, and drum. Check and clean the water inlet filters every few months. Ensure the machine is level and inspect the hoses for any signs of wear or leaks.
Ensure the door is completely closed. Check if the power cord is plugged in and the outlet is working. Verify that the water supply is turned on. Examine the control panel for any error codes.
Run a self-clean cycle with a washing machine cleaner or vinegar. Leave the door slightly open between washes to allow air circulation. Regularly clean the detergent drawer and rubber door gasket.
Wash full loads whenever possible, but avoid overloading. Use cold water settings when appropriate. Regularly clean the machine to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.
