To start a drying cycle, load your laundry into the drum, close the door, select the desired drying program using the program selector dial, and press the start button.
Ensure the dryer is plugged in and the power outlet is functional. Check the circuit breaker and make sure the door is fully closed. If the problem persists, contact a qualified technician.
Check if the selected program requires heat and verify the lint filter and exhaust vent are not blocked. If the issue continues, the heating element may need servicing.
Open the dryer door, locate the lint filter at the bottom of the door opening, pull it out, and remove any lint. Rinse under water if necessary, dry thoroughly, and replace it back into position.
Regularly clean the lint filter, check and clean the exhaust vent, and wipe the dryer drum and exterior surfaces with a damp cloth. Ensure the dryer is on a level surface.
Use the anti-crease feature if available and remove clothes promptly after the cycle ends. Consider using a lower heat setting to reduce heat-related creasing.
It is not recommended to dry shoes in the dryer as it may damage both the shoes and the appliance. Instead, air-dry them or use a designated shoe drying rack if available.
Unusual noises can result from loose items in the drum, an imbalanced load, or worn drum bearings. Ensure no objects are caught in the drum and redistribute the load if necessary.
Refer to the user manual for specific error codes. For a general reset, turn off the dryer, unplug it from the power source, wait a few minutes, then plug it back in and restart.
Select the appropriate drying program based on fabric type and load size. Use sensors or timed cycles to avoid over-drying and monitor the drying process to adjust settings as needed.
