To adjust the temperature, locate the temperature control panel inside the refrigerator. Press the temperature adjustment buttons until you reach the desired setting. The recommended temperature for the refrigerator is 37°F (3°C) and for the freezer is 0°F (-18°C).
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure the temperature settings are correct. Clean the condenser coils if they are dusty, and check that the door seals are intact and sealing properly. If the issue persists, contact a professional technician.
The Grundig GSL1671G is equipped with a No Frost system, which prevents ice build-up. Therefore, manual defrosting is not necessary. However, if you notice excessive ice, check the door seals and ensure the freezer is not overfilled.
To clean the interior, first unplug the refrigerator. Remove all food and shelves. Use a mild detergent mixed with warm water to wipe down the surfaces. Dry with a clean cloth before replacing the shelves and food. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
Unusual noises can be caused by the refrigerator not being level, items inside vibrating against each other, or a malfunctioning component. Ensure the refrigerator is on a level surface and check that nothing inside is causing noise. If the noise continues, consult a technician.
Ensure the refrigerator is placed in a well-ventilated area and away from heat sources. Keep the door seals clean and intact. Avoid placing hot food inside and keep the door closed as much as possible. Regularly defrost if necessary and keep the condenser coils clean.
Check if the defrost drain is clogged and clear it if necessary. Ensure the refrigerator is level to prevent water accumulation. Inspect the water supply line for leaks if your model has a water dispenser or ice maker.
Unplug the refrigerator before changing the bulb. Locate the light cover inside the refrigerator and remove it. Unscrew the old bulb and replace it with a new one of the same type and wattage. Replace the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
It is not recommended to store heavy items on the door shelves as this can affect the door alignment and seals over time. Store heavier items on the main shelves inside the refrigerator.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the interior, wiping the door seals, checking and cleaning the condenser coils, and ensuring the refrigerator is level. Monitor the temperature settings and inspect for any leaks or unusual noises.
