To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the temperature adjustment buttons to set your desired temperature for both the fridge and freezer compartments.
Check if the refrigerator is properly plugged in and the power is on. Ensure the doors are sealing correctly and not opened frequently. Clean the condenser coils and ensure there is adequate space around the appliance for air circulation.
First, unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light bulb cover inside the fridge, unscrew it, and replace the old bulb with a new one of the same type and wattage. Secure the cover back in place and plug the fridge back in.
Water pooling can be due to a blocked defrost drain. Try cleaning the drain hole located at the back of the fridge interior using a mixture of baking soda and warm water.
The Grundig GKF15810N features an automatic defrost function. However, if ice build-up is excessive, you may need to manually defrost. Generally, check every 6 months for manual defrosting if needed.
Unplug the refrigerator and remove all food items. Use a mixture of mild detergent and warm water to wipe down the interior surfaces. Avoid using abrasive cleaners. After cleaning, dry thoroughly before plugging back in and restocking.
Unusual noises may be due to items placed incorrectly inside or the appliance not being level. Ensure the fridge is on a stable, flat surface and rearrange items to prevent them from vibrating against each other.
Refer to the user manual for specific instructions, but typically, pressing and holding the filter reset button for several seconds will reset the indicator light.
Inspect the door seal for any cracks or tears. If damaged, it’s advisable to replace the seal. Contact Grundig customer support for replacement parts and instructions on fitting a new seal.
Ensure the refrigerator is placed away from heat sources and has sufficient ventilation space. Keep the door closed when not in use and make sure it seals properly. Regularly clean the condenser coils and set the temperature to the recommended settings.
