To adjust the temperature, locate the temperature control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the digital display to set the desired temperature for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the power is on. Ensure the thermostat is set correctly. Clean the condenser coils and make sure the door seals are not damaged. If the issue persists, consult the user manual or contact a service technician.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils every 6 to 12 months to ensure optimal performance. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to remove dust and debris.
To defrost the freezer, remove all items and unplug the refrigerator. Leave the freezer door open to allow the ice to melt. Use towels to soak up excess water and clean the interior before plugging the unit back in.
Locate the water filter compartment, usually in the top right corner of the refrigerator. Twist the old filter counterclockwise to remove it. Insert the new filter and twist it clockwise until secure. Run water through the dispenser for a few minutes to clear any air or debris.
Check the water supply line and connections for any leaks. Ensure the drain pan is not overflowing and that the defrost drain is not clogged. If the problem continues, seek professional assistance.
To reset the ice maker, turn it off for 30 seconds using the on/off switch. Then, turn it back on. If the ice maker still does not work, it may require further troubleshooting or service.
The ideal temperature for the refrigerator compartment is between 37°F (3°C) and 40°F (4°C). For the freezer, it should be set at 0°F (-18°C) to ensure food safety and preservation.
Keep the refrigerator and freezer doors closed as much as possible. Ensure the door seals are intact and clean the condenser coils regularly. Avoid placing hot food inside the refrigerator and keep it away from heat sources.
Unusual noises might be due to the refrigerator not being level, or items inside vibrating. Check and adjust the leveling, and ensure items are stored securely. If noises persist, contact a service technician.
