To turn on the Dimplex DXUF20TN Heater, plug it into a power outlet and use the power switch located on the side of the unit.
Ensure the heater is plugged in, the power switch is on, and the thermostat is set to a higher temperature. If it still doesn't produce heat, check for any tripped circuit breakers.
Unplug the heater and allow it to cool. Use a vacuum with a brush attachment to clean dust from the vents, and wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
It is generally not recommended to leave any portable heater unattended for extended periods, including overnight. Always follow the manufacturer's safety instructions.
Allow the heater to cool completely, then store it in a dry location away from dust. Ensure the power cord is not wrapped tightly around the unit.
Turn the thermostat dial to the desired temperature setting. The heater will automatically turn on and off to maintain the selected temperature.
It is not recommended to use an extension cord due to the risk of overheating or electrical fires. Plug the heater directly into a wall outlet.
The heater has a safety cut-off feature. If it overheats, turn it off, unplug it, and allow it to cool. Check for obstructions or dust accumulation before restarting.
Keep the heater clean and free of obstructions. Ensure the room is well-insulated to prevent heat loss and regularly check the thermostat setting.
The heater includes a thermal cut-off feature to prevent overheating and a safety switch that shuts off power if the heater is knocked over.
