To install the Dimplex 402T Heater, ensure it is mounted securely on a wall with the included brackets. Follow the installation guide for electrical connection and ensure the heater is at least 150mm above the floor.
Check if the heater is properly plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the thermostat is set above room temperature and the power switch is on. If it still doesn't work, consult a professional.
Turn off the heater and unplug it before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid using water or cleaning agents. Regularly check for dust accumulation and clean the air inlet and outlet.
Unusual noises could be due to loose mounting brackets or debris in the fan. Check and tighten the installation brackets and ensure the fan and vents are clean and free from obstructions.
If a burning smell occurs, immediately turn off and unplug the heater. Check for any visible debris or dust inside the heater that might be burning. If the issue persists, contact a qualified technician.
The Dimplex 402T Heater is not recommended for use in bathrooms or any areas with high humidity. It is designed for dry, indoor environments only.
Use the thermostat dial on the heater to adjust the temperature. Turn the dial clockwise to increase the temperature and counterclockwise to decrease it.
The Dimplex 402T Heater has a power consumption of 2000 watts. Ensure your electrical system can support this load before installation.
Ensure the room is well-insulated and windows and doors are closed to retain heat. Use the heater's thermostat to maintain a consistent temperature rather than frequently turning it on and off.
While the Dimplex 402T Heater has safety features, it is generally recommended to turn off heaters when unattended or overnight to prevent any potential safety risks.
