To perform a factory reset, press and hold the 'Speaker A' and 'Speaker B' buttons simultaneously on the front panel until "Initialized" appears on the display. This will reset all settings to factory defaults.
The Denon AVR-591 does not support direct firmware updates via the internet. Updates can be done using a USB drive if available. Please check the Denon support website for any firmware updates and instructions.
Ensure all cables are properly connected. Check that the correct input source is selected. Verify that the 'Mute' function is not activated and the volume is turned up. Additionally, check speaker connections and speaker impedance settings.
Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior. Avoid using liquids or harsh chemicals. Ensure the unit is turned off and unplugged before cleaning. Regularly check and clean the ventilation openings to prevent dust accumulation.
Ensure proper speaker placement and calibration. Use the Audyssey Setup feature to automatically calibrate speakers. Experiment with different sound modes and configurations to find the best setting for your environment.
The Denon AVR-591 does not have built-in Wi-Fi capability. It requires a wired connection to a network or an external device that can provide wireless connectivity.
Ensure the receiver has adequate ventilation and is not enclosed in a tight space. Check for obstructions near the ventilation openings. Consider using a cooling fan if the unit is in a warm environment.
The Denon AVR-591 does not have built-in Bluetooth. You can use an external Bluetooth adapter connected to one of the available inputs to enable Bluetooth functionality.
Check if the batteries are installed correctly and have sufficient charge. Ensure there are no obstructions between the remote and the receiver. Try resetting the remote by removing the batteries and pressing each button once.
