The Denon AVR-1911 does not have built-in Bluetooth. To connect a Bluetooth device, you will need a Bluetooth adapter. Connect the adapter to one of the available analog inputs, such as AUX or CD inputs, and pair your Bluetooth device with the adapter following its instructions.
First, check that the receiver is properly connected to the speakers and that all cables are securely inserted. Ensure the receiver is not in Mute mode and that the correct input source is selected. If the problem persists, try performing a factory reset by holding the "Speaker A" and "Speaker B" buttons simultaneously while powering on the unit.
The Denon AVR-1911 does not support firmware updates via internet or USB. It is recommended to contact Denon support for any potential updates or enhancements.
The AVR-1911 supports a maximum resolution of 1080p. You can connect it to a 4K TV, but the video output will be limited to 1080p. For 4K content, connect your source directly to the TV and use an audio return channel (ARC) or optical connection for audio to the AVR.
To clean your AVR-1911, turn off and unplug the unit. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Avoid using water or cleaning solvents. Ensure proper ventilation by placing the unit in a well-ventilated area and dusting regularly to prevent overheating.
Connect the included microphone to the front panel jack. Follow the on-screen instructions to place the microphone at ear level in your main seating area. The receiver will emit test tones and automatically calibrate the speaker settings for optimal sound.
Ensure the receiver is in a well-ventilated area and not confined in a closed space. Check that all speaker connections are correct and that the impedance matches the receiver's requirements. Overheating can also be caused by prolonged high volume levels.
To enhance bass output, ensure that your subwoofer is properly connected and configured. Adjust the crossover frequency and level settings for the subwoofer in the AVR-1911's speaker setup menu. Consider placement changes to optimize room acoustics.
For a 5.1 setup, configure the front speakers as "Large" if they are full-range or "Small" for bookshelf speakers. Set the center and surround speakers to "Small." Adjust the crossover frequency to 80Hz, which is standard for most setups, and ensure the subwoofer is enabled.
To perform a factory reset, turn off the receiver. Press and hold the "Speaker A" and "Speaker B" buttons simultaneously, then power on the unit. Continue holding the buttons until "Initialized" appears on the display. This will reset all settings to factory defaults.
