To perform a factory reset, restart your laptop and press F8 during boot-up. Select 'Repair Your Computer', choose the keyboard layout, and select 'Dell Backup and Recovery'. Follow the prompts to restore the system to factory settings.
First, ensure the power adapter is connected and the power outlet is working. Try removing the battery and holding the power button for 15 seconds to reset. Reinsert the battery and try turning it on again.
