To reset your Dell Inspiron 3552 to factory settings, turn on the laptop and press F8 repeatedly until the Advanced Boot Options menu appears. Select "Repair Your Computer" and follow the on-screen instructions to restore the system.
Ensure the power adapter is securely connected to both the laptop and the power outlet. Check for any damage to the charging cable. If the issue persists, try using another compatible charger to rule out a faulty adapter.
To upgrade RAM, turn off the laptop and remove the battery. Unscrew the back panel and locate the RAM slot. Insert the new RAM module into the slot at a 45-degree angle, then press down until it clicks into place. Reassemble the laptop.
Try removing unnecessary startup programs, running disk cleanup, and uninstalling unused software. Upgrading RAM or switching to an SSD can also improve performance.
Click the network icon in the taskbar, select the desired Wi-Fi network, and click 'Connect'. Enter the network password if prompted.
Turn off the laptop and disconnect the power adapter. Use a can of compressed air to blow away debris. Gently wipe the keys with a microfiber cloth lightly dampened with water or isopropyl alcohol.
Ensure the laptop is on a flat, hard surface to allow proper ventilation. Clean the air vents with compressed air and consider using a cooling pad. If overheating persists, check the thermal paste on the CPU.
Check the power adapter and battery for faults. Perform a power drain by removing the battery and power adapter, then holding the power button for 15 seconds. Reconnect and try powering on again.
Restart the laptop and press F12 during boot to access the Boot Menu. Select 'Diagnostics' to run the hardware diagnostic tests and check for any issues.
Reduce screen brightness, close unnecessary applications, and disable Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not in use. Consider adjusting power settings for better efficiency.
