To start a wash cycle, load your dishes, add detergent, close the door, select the desired wash program using the control panel, and press the start button.
Check if the drain hose is kinked or blocked. Also, inspect the filter and drain pump for any debris or obstructions. Clean them if necessary.
Remove the lower dish rack to access the filter. Twist and pull out the cylindrical filter, rinse it under running water, and remove any food particles or debris. Reinsert it securely.
Spots can be due to hard water. Ensure the rinse aid dispenser is full, and consider using a water softener if your water is particularly hard.
To reset the dishwasher, press and hold the start button for three seconds until the display clears and resets.
Regularly clean the filter, check and clean the spray arms, and wipe down the door seals. Run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner monthly to remove build-up.
Unusual noises may be caused by items obstructing the spray arms, loose items in the dishwasher, or an improperly leveled appliance. Check and adjust as needed.
Place larger items like pots and pans on the bottom rack, and smaller items like glasses and cups on the top rack. Ensure that nothing blocks the spray arms.
Check for obstructions like protruding dishes or utensils. Inspect the door latch for any damage and ensure the racks are pushed in completely.
Ensure the rinse aid dispenser is filled, select a higher temperature wash cycle, and open the dishwasher door slightly after the cycle to allow steam to escape.
