To start a wash cycle, load your dishes, add detergent, select the desired wash program using the control panel, and press the start button.
Check for clogs in the drain hose or filter, ensure the drain hose is properly installed, and inspect the sink drain for blockages. Clean the filter and remove any debris.
To clean the filter, remove it from the bottom of the dishwasher, rinse it under running water, and use a brush to remove any stubborn debris. Reinstall the filter securely.
Ensure that the dishwasher door is closed properly and latched. Check that the power supply is connected and that there are no blown fuses or tripped circuit breakers.
Load dishes so that water can reach all surfaces. Avoid overcrowding, place larger items on the sides or back, and ensure that items do not block the spray arms.
Regularly clean the filter, check and clean the spray arms, inspect and clean the door seals, and occasionally run an empty cycle with a dishwasher cleaner.
To reset the dishwasher, press and hold the start button for about 3 seconds. This should cancel the current cycle and allow you to select a new one.
Use high-quality, dishwasher-specific detergents. You can choose between tablets, powder, or liquid, following the manufacturer's recommendations for best results.
White residue is often caused by hard water. Use a rinse aid to improve drying and reduce spotting. Check the salt reservoir if your dishwasher has a water softener feature.
Ensure that the rinse aid dispenser is full, select a drying program or option if available, and open the door slightly at the end of the cycle to release steam.
