To reset the dishwasher, press and hold the start button for about 3 seconds until the display shows a reset indication. Release the button and wait for the appliance to restart.
Ensure the dishwasher is properly plugged in and that the circuit breaker has not tripped. Check that the door is securely closed and the latch is engaged. Verify that the water supply is turned on.
Remove the lower rack to access the filter. Twist the filter counterclockwise and lift it out. Rinse the filter under running water and use a soft brush to remove any debris. Reinstall the filter by aligning it and turning it clockwise until it locks in place.
Check for blockages in the drain hose and ensure it is not kinked. Inspect the filter and remove any debris. Make sure the drain pump is functioning properly and not obstructed by foreign objects.
Use a high-quality, phosphate-free dishwasher detergent. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations for the correct amount to use based on your water hardness and load size.
To adjust the height of the upper rack, pull it out slightly and locate the adjustment levers on each side. Lift or lower the rack to the desired position and ensure it is level before sliding it back into place.
Spots can be caused by hard water. Ensure you are using a rinse aid and adjust the amount as needed. Check that the water softener is set correctly for your water hardness level.
Remove the spray arms by unscrewing or unclipping them. Rinse under hot water and use a toothpick or brush to clear any clogged holes. Reattach the arms securely after cleaning.
Regularly clean the filter and spray arms, check for clogs in the drain, and use a dishwasher cleaner monthly to remove limescale and grease buildup. Ensure the door seals are clean and intact.
Ensure the dishwasher is level and firmly seated. Check that dishes are not obstructing the spray arms. Inspect the door seal for wear and replace if necessary. Keep the filter and drain clean to prevent noise from blockages.
