To reset your De Dietrich DVH1150XC dishwasher, press and hold the Start/Reset button for about 3 seconds until the display shows a change or the LED indicators blink. This will reset the cycle and clear any errors.
First, check if the drain hose is kinked or clogged. Ensure the sink's drain is clear. Also, clean the dishwasher filter and check the drain pump for any blockages.
To clean the filter, remove the lower dish rack and locate the filter at the bottom. Twist counterclockwise to remove it, then rinse under running water to remove debris. Reinstall by twisting clockwise.
Place large items like pots and pans on the bottom rack, ensuring they don’t block the spray arms. Place cups and smaller items on the top rack. Avoid overcrowding to ensure water circulation.
Unusual noises may be due to items touching the spray arms or something caught in the filter. Ensure items are loaded properly and check the filter for debris.
Descale your dishwasher every 3 to 6 months to prevent limescale buildup. Use a dishwasher-safe descaling agent and run a cycle without dishes.
Check for obstructions around the door, including dish racks. Ensure the latch and hinges are not damaged. If the problem persists, a service technician may be needed.
Ensure the rinse aid dispenser is filled, as it helps with drying. Also, use a hot water cycle and leave the door slightly open after the cycle ends to allow moisture to escape.
White residue is often caused by hard water. Ensure the rinse aid is filled, use a dishwasher cleaner monthly, and consider a water softener if hard water is a persistent issue.
Refer to the user manual for error code descriptions. Common solutions include resetting the dishwasher, checking water supply, and ensuring proper drainage.
