To unlock the De Dietrich DTI731X hob, press and hold the lock button for a few seconds until the lock indicator light turns off.
Check if the hob is correctly connected to the power supply. Ensure that the circuit breaker hasn't tripped. Verify that the correct cooking zone is selected and that the power level is set.
Allow the hob to cool down, then wipe with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads as they can damage the surface.
The continuous beep sound might indicate that an object is placed on the control panel, or the panel is wet. Remove any items and dry the surface thoroughly.
To activate the booster function, select the cooking zone and press the booster button. This will temporarily increase the power output for faster heating.
Use cookware that is specifically marked as induction-compatible. These typically have a flat base and a magnetic bottom.
Select the desired cooking zone, press the timer button, and then use the control to set the desired cooking time. The hob will turn off the zone automatically once the time elapses.
Error code "E2" indicates that the hob is overheating. Allow it to cool down and ensure that there is adequate ventilation around the appliance.
Turn off the hob and disconnect it from the power supply for a few minutes. Reconnect it and turn it back on to perform a reset.
Regularly clean the hob surface to prevent buildup. Check the power connections occasionally and ensure that the ventilation is not obstructed.
