To unlock the child safety lock, press and hold the lock button for approximately 3 seconds until the indicator light turns off.
Ensure that the hob is properly connected to the power supply. Check the circuit breaker and make sure the hob is not in lock mode. If the issue persists, consult the user manual or contact customer service.
Use a soft, damp cloth with a mild detergent to clean the surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, as they can damage the glass.
Clicking noises are normal as the hob heats up and cools down. It is caused by the expansion and contraction of the heating elements.
To reset the hob, turn off the power at the main switch or circuit breaker for at least 30 seconds, then turn it back on.
Use cookware that matches the size of the heating zone and has a flat bottom. Cover pots with lids to reduce heat loss and use the residual heat for simmering.
Refer to the user manual for the specific error code meaning. Try resetting the hob, and if the error persists, contact De Dietrich customer support.
The hob is induction, so only ferrous metal cookware is suitable. To check, use a magnet on the base of your cookware; if it sticks, it is compatible.
To activate the Power Boost, select the cooking zone and press the Power Boost button. The indicator will light up to confirm activation.
Regularly clean the hob surface and control panel to prevent buildup. Check that the ventilation openings are not blocked and ensure the power cord is in good condition.
