To activate the child lock, press and hold the lock button on the control panel for a few seconds until you see a lock icon illuminated on the display. This prevents accidental activation of the hob's functions.
Ensure that the cookware is suitable for induction cooking and is placed correctly on the hob. If the problem persists, check if the power supply is stable and inspect the circuit breaker for any issues.
After the hob has cooled down, use a damp cloth and a mild detergent to clean the surface. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or sharp objects that could scratch the glass.
The clicking noise is normal and occurs due to the electronic components regulating the power levels. However, if the noise is excessive or unusual, it might be worth contacting customer support.
The hob is designed for induction-compatible cookware, which usually includes iron or magnetic stainless steel. Avoid using glass, ceramic, or aluminum pots unless they have a magnetic base.
To reset the hob, turn it off and disconnect it from the power supply for a few minutes. Reconnect it and turn it back on. This should reset the settings to default.
The power consumption depends on the power level setting. To manage power efficiently, use the hob's power management features, and ensure cookware fully covers the induction zone to avoid energy loss.
Refer to the user manual for a list of error codes and their meanings. Common solutions include checking for obstructions, ensuring proper ventilation, and inspecting the power supply.
Regularly clean the hob's surface and control panel. Check and clean the ventilation areas to prevent dust buildup. Avoid spills and use cookware with smooth bottoms to prevent scratches.
Use the touch control panel to adjust the temperature. Select the cooking zone and use the "+" or "-" buttons to set the desired power level. The hob will adjust the temperature accordingly.
