To activate the power boost function, select the cooking zone you wish to boost and press the power boost button. The display will show a 'P' to indicate the function is active.
If the hob is not turning on, ensure it is properly connected to the power supply. Check the circuit breaker and fuses. If the problem persists, contact a qualified technician.
To clean the hob, use a soft cloth and mild detergent. Avoid using abrasive materials or cleaners that can scratch the glass surface.
A clicking noise is normal and can occur when the hob is adjusting power levels to maintain the set temperature. If the noise is excessive, ensure the hob is level and installed correctly.
Use cookware with a flat, magnetic base such as stainless steel or cast iron. Avoid using glass, ceramic, or aluminum pans unless they have a magnetic base.
To lock the controls, press and hold the lock button until a padlock icon appears on the display. This will prevent any changes to the settings until it is unlocked.
Refer to the user manual for the specific error code. Common solutions include resetting the hob by turning it off and on, or ensuring proper ventilation around the appliance.
The hob requires a stable AC power supply and is not designed for use with alternative power sources like generators. It should not be used during a power outage.
To reset the hob to factory settings, turn off the power at the circuit breaker for at least 30 seconds, then restore power. This will reset the system.
The hob may shut off automatically due to overheating or a timer setting. Ensure proper ventilation and check any active timers that might be set.
