To activate the child lock, press and hold the lock button for a few seconds until the indicator light turns on, signifying that the controls are locked.
First, ensure the hob is properly connected to the power supply. Check if the circuit breaker has tripped. Make sure the cookware is suitable and correctly placed on the cooking zone.
Use a soft cloth with mild detergent and warm water to clean the hob. Avoid abrasive cleaners and scouring pads to prevent scratching the surface.
Error code E1 usually indicates an issue with the temperature sensor. Turn off the hob and restart it. If the problem persists, contact customer support.
To reset the hob, disconnect it from the power supply for a few minutes, then reconnect it. This should restore the default settings.
Only use cookware that is induction-compatible, such as those made with ferrous metals. Check for an induction symbol on the cookware packaging.
Regularly clean the hob to prevent dirt buildup and ensure proper ventilation around the unit. Use cookware with flat bottoms for optimal heat transfer.
Press and hold the lock button until the indicator light goes off. This should unlock the controls.
A clicking noise is normal and is caused by the electronic components managing power levels and heat distribution.
Always supervise cooking, keep flammable items away from the hob, and ensure the child lock is activated when not in use.
