To adjust the temperature settings, locate the control panel inside the refrigerator. Use the up and down arrows to set your desired temperature for both the refrigerator and freezer compartments.
First, check if the refrigerator is plugged in and the circuit breaker is not tripped. Ensure the temperature settings are correct. Clean the condenser coils and make sure the door seals are intact. If the issue persists, contact De Dietrich customer service.
It is recommended to clean the condenser coils at least twice a year to maintain optimal performance and efficiency.
Water pooling can be due to a blocked defrost drain. To clear it, use a turkey baster filled with warm water to flush the drain from inside the freezer compartment.
Unplug the refrigerator. Locate the light cover inside the fridge, remove it, and unscrew the old bulb. Replace it with a new bulb of the same type and wattage. Then, reattach the cover and plug the refrigerator back in.
Ensure the refrigerator is level and not touching walls or cabinets. Check if any items inside are vibrating against the walls. If the noise continues, inspect the fan or compressor for potential issues.
Keep the refrigerator full but not overcrowded to maintain temperature. Ensure the door seals are tight, and avoid placing the unit near heat sources. Regularly clean the condenser coils as well.
To reset the refrigerator, unplug it for about 10 minutes, then plug it back in. This allows the system to reset and recalibrate.
Regular maintenance includes cleaning the condenser coils, checking and cleaning door seals, replacing water filters if applicable, and ensuring proper air circulation inside the fridge.
Check if any items inside are blocking the door. Inspect the door gasket for any damage or debris. Adjust the leveling feet to ensure the refrigerator is not tilted forward.
