To set the timer, press the 'Program' button, use the 'Hour' and 'Minute' buttons to set the desired brewing time, and then press 'Program' again to confirm.
Check to ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Also, verify if the On/Off switch is in the correct position.
To clean the carafe, wash it with warm soapy water and rinse thoroughly. Avoid using abrasive cleaners to prevent scratching the surface.
Fill the water reservoir with a mixture of half water and half white vinegar, run a brew cycle, and then run two more cycles with fresh water to rinse.
Inspect the reservoir for cracks or damage. If none are found, check if the gasket or seals are compromised and replace them if necessary.
Ensure the lid is tightly secured after brewing. Pre-warming the carafe with hot water before brewing can also help maintain heat.
Check for obstructions in the filter basket and ensure the carafe lid is properly aligned. A clogged filter or misaligned parts can interrupt brewing.
For optimal brewing, use a medium grind size. Too fine a grind can obstruct water flow, while too coarse a grind may result in weak coffee.
Ensure you're not exceeding the recommended amount of coffee grounds. Check if the filter basket is properly seated and not clogged.
Ensure the unit is plugged in and the outlet is functioning. If the issue persists, consider resetting the machine by unplugging it for a few minutes before plugging it back in.
