To clean the grill plates, unplug the unit and allow it to cool. Once cooled, remove the plates and wash them with warm soapy water or place them in the dishwasher. Ensure they are thoroughly dried before reattaching.
Check if the unit is properly plugged in and the outlet is functional. Ensure the temperature control is set to your desired level. If the problem persists, consult the user manual or contact customer support.
It is recommended to use non-metal utensils, such as silicone or wooden tools, to prevent scratching the non-stick coating of the grill plates.
Use the temperature control dial to adjust the heat setting. Turn the dial to the desired temperature and allow the grill to preheat before cooking.
Ensure the grill is clean and dry. Store it in a cool, dry place with the lid closed. If possible, wrap the power cord around the built-in cord storage hooks.
Preheat the grill before adding food and lightly coat the grill plates with cooking spray or oil. This will help create a non-stick surface and make cleaning easier.
Ensure the unit is plugged into a working outlet. If the light still does not turn on, there may be an issue with the power supply or the indicator light itself. Contact customer service for assistance.
To remove the grill plates, press the release buttons located on the sides of the plates. Once released, carefully lift the plates out of the unit.
Some smoke is normal, especially when using oil or fatty foods. Ensure the grill is clean and not overloaded with grease or food debris to minimize smoke.
Avoid using metal utensils and abrasive cleaners. Regularly clean the plates with a soft sponge and mild detergent. Reapply a light coating of oil before each use to maintain the non-stick surface.
