To assemble the crane, follow the instruction manual provided, ensuring all bolts and nuts are securely fastened. Begin with the base, attach the legs, and then the boom assembly and hydraulic ram.
The maximum load capacity of the Clarke 7611011 CFC1000B folding crane is 1 tonne or 1000 kg. Never exceed this limit to ensure safe operation.
If the crane's hydraulic system is not functioning properly, check for oil leaks, ensure the oil level is adequate, and inspect the hydraulic ram for any signs of damage.
Use a high-quality hydraulic oil with an ISO VG 32 or SAE 10 rating for optimal performance and maintenance of the hydraulic system.
To store the crane safely, lower the boom to the lowest position, fold the legs, and ensure it is kept in a dry environment to prevent rust and corrosion.
During routine maintenance, check all moving parts for signs of wear, lubricate joints, inspect the hydraulic system, and ensure all bolts and pins are tight.
It is not recommended to use the crane on uneven surfaces as it can lead to instability. Always operate the crane on a flat, solid surface.
To adjust the boom length, remove the locking pin, extend or retract the boom to the desired position, and then reinsert the pin to secure it in place.
Always wear appropriate PPE, ensure the load is centered and secured, do not stand under the load, and never exceed the crane's rated capacity.
Regularly clean the crane, apply a rust inhibitor or protective oil on metal parts, and store it in a dry place to prevent rust.
