Ensure the water supply is connected and turned on. Plug in the power cord, switch the unit to 'on', and press the trigger on the spray gun to start the washer.
Check for blockages in the spray nozzle and hoses. Ensure the water supply is adequate and the filter is clean. Inspect the pump for any visible damage.
Regularly clean the water filter, inspect hoses for leaks, and check the oil level in the pump motor. Store the washer in a dry place and protect it from freezing temperatures.
Use only detergents specifically designed for pressure washers. Avoid using bleach or other harsh chemicals that could damage the machine.
Disconnect all hoses and the power supply. Drain any remaining water from the pump and hoses. Store the unit in a sheltered area away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Change the pump oil after the first 50 hours of use and then every 300 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Use only the oil type recommended in the user manual.
Disconnect the nozzle and rinse it with clean water. Use a nozzle cleaning tool or small wire to remove any debris obstructing the nozzle opening.
Check for loose components and ensure the washer is on a stable surface. Excessive vibration can also be caused by air in the pump or a clogged nozzle.
Drain all water from the pump and hoses. Add antifreeze to the pump to prevent internal damage caused by freezing temperatures. Store in a dry, insulated location.
Check the power supply and ensure all electrical connections are secure. Verify that the water supply is turned on and the trigger is engaged. For electric models, check the circuit breaker or fuse.
